Default Over torqued 10mm bolt

I over tourqued a 10mm bolt and the part that the bolt goes into is stripped. Is there anything I can do to fix this? (The 10mm bolt is NOT stripped)

Is there any thread left where the you stripped it? How much torque was supposed to be supplied to this bolt?

You could try getting something called a "helicoil" repair (most engineering shops over here in the UK could do this - but you will need clear access to the hole if it is in an awkward position it could mean removing the affected part for repair).
