I bought a 90's Honda recently, it ended up having no cat, both 02 sensors are working and it had no check engine light. I need to look closer as to why there is no CEL, perhaps it has a 90 degree retrofit. By all accounts it should be tripping a CEL, but it doesn't. There must be something fooling the ecu, they certainly fooled me on the sale. lol

They didn't start OBD2 emissions (two O2 sensors) til 1996. Some cars had it in 1995.

Is this a 1996+?
