11-83 is has a diagram where the sensor is located. 11-89 has the troubleshooting steps.

Got the verdict back from Hopkins Honda. They couldn't find a ground on the IACV either (Step 8). They traced it to a jacked ECU, so I get a new one. Coincidently, this solves the alternator noise issue I have on my stereo. Seems I always had an issue.

My Helm manual is 2000 and 2001. There are some subtle differences between the two years that would explain why I have more pages.

New ECU? That sounds like one of those catch all steps in the trouble-shooting table when the engineer didn
