Parasitic power losses
My 08 has been draining the battery recently while sitting in the garage.
When I got it, some 5+ years ago, I could leave the car for a couple of months and still be able to start it on demand.
The original battery gave up the ghost a year or so ago, so I replaced it with an OEM Honda battery. Figured 9 years was as good as it was gonna get for battery life.
Now, if I leave the car for more than a couple of weeks, nada. I've taken the battery to the Dealership and they did their extended service tests on it and declared it healthy. I just had it do it too me after having been out of town for 3 weeks.
So, I'm thinking a parasitic power loss has perhaps emerged somewhere. I've added nothing new electronics wise for several years. The car has an aftermarket (Alpine) HU and the Modifry interface thingy. That's the only non-stock electronics it it and they have been there for several years.
Any ideas on things to look at before I just start taking the thing apart and testing each electronic component?
thanks

Note, though, the first step is "check the battery." One year old battery may be bad and/or the connectors may be bad. You can get a battery load tester for about $20 or just borrow one at any AutoPartsStore.
After proving the battery is good the linked video is good and very easy.
Remove the NEGATIVE lead from the car battery, just like Eric recommends.
