Maybe use whatever oil you usually use. Check for an increase in oil lost. Get a periodic (like annual) oil sample.

I'd prolly warm up the car until the skirt noise stops, before any hard driving.

Thankfully no oil consumption, it was my first oil change on the car since I bought it. Don't know what oil the previous owner used, so I guess it'll be a mystery. Haha

Pick your own oil De Jour! I've used Mobil One 5W-30 (Full Synthetic).
