I tried to install the AEM EGT sensor over the weekend and could not find any helpful information on how to wire this thing. Do you ground 1 lead and hook up the other lead to A5 on the EMS?

Also where do you guys place your sensor? 1.5" downstream of the third runner or where all the runners join up in the manifold?

 

Gary Rudolph did a thread on this about 4 months ago. Do a search.

Oops, your probably right. The EGT was simple but mine is an Apexi.

the instruction is wrong
the 30-1012 is to be wired up like a supa (30-11xx)
one lead to the A5 (or any of the other 3 EGT inputs) and the other to a 5 volt source

the EGT table will need to be recalibrated
