Default Please Help Analyzing These Codes...

CEL has been reset and comes back on. I had Auto Zone pull the codes:

Global OBDII
DTC (Codes)

P1298
Manufacturer Contrl.
Fuel Air Metering

P0135
O2 Sensor Heater
Circuit Malfunction
(Bank 1 Sensor 1)

P0141
O2 Sensor Heater
Circuit Malfunction
(Bank 1 Sensor 2)

P0411
Secondary Air
Injection System
Incorrect Flow

DTC Pending (Codes)

P0411
Secondary Air
Injection System
Incorrect Flow

Initially we thought that we had done something to the air pump when installing brake ducting but all connections are OK. We coldn't do the relay test for lack of a multi-meter.

I need someone with more smarts than me to make sense of this. Thanks in advance for your help!

Some of your code descriptions are odd.
P1298 is Electrical Load Detector (ELD) Circuit High Voltage. This had to do with the way the battery takes a charge or holds a charge or the way the ECU interprets how it does this. It could be a charging system issue, a battery issue, or an ECU issue.

P0135 deals with the Primary O2 sensor - Heat Circuit Malfunction. It could a bad sensor, bad wiring connector or bad wiring.

P0141 deal with the Secondary O2 sensor - same as above.

P0411 is as you've stated - secondary air injection. This is a very extensive and complicated system. The pump is only a small component of this. You say the connections "look" OK, but you should really check them again. Unclip them and clip them back on to be sure. Also, this is the same system that includes all those hoses, solenoid and check valve that get screwed up when you put on a CAI. Check to make sure that none have been altered or that none are cracked or fallen off, especially at all the connections.

Thanks Dave. I've checked all of the CAI hoses and connections and took off the air pump electrical connections. All are OK.

Because of the weird combination of codes, I'll have to have a mechanic look at. Not an idea I'm warming up to.
