Default Engine Warning Buzzer

This weekend I had my first track and autocross experience at Fall Colors. It was incredible and now I'm hooked!

However, I'm certain if one of the idiot lights came one while I was at speed I wouldn't see it until the engine started to sputter or fail. Previous 60's era cars that I've owned had a loud buzzer that would go off if the oil pressure went too low or temperature went too high.

Does anyone know of a mod that could be done to add a buzzer to sound if I had a loss of oil pressure, or over temp condition? As long as the buzzer is loud enough to hear over the engine noise at speed maybe that would give me enough warning to prevent serious damage (or at least limit it).

Thanks!!

John

there are all kinds of companies that make sending units for oil pressure, engine temp.. etc... you can also set them up on warning lights or a buzzer if you really want..

MSD are probably some of the most popular...
