I have a 2006 engine harness hanging in the garage here. It also has the harness part of the car cut off and plugged into it. I'm sure I can answer you question, but I am not sure what you are asking.

Bill, sounds like he removed the DBW wire from the connector and found out that he couldn't control the throttle body by cable as he wanted.

Now he's trying to put the wire back into the harness. On either side of connector 101 he wants to know the color of the pins for this wire.

I started with the bottom pin on the right as you sit in the car, and went up. the right pins are in bold. only 4 wires on right bank.

The left row I also started at the bottom and went up.

Yes it is the C101 connector from a 2006 S2000. Yes a 16 pin just like yours.

Not all pin holes are used, that's why there are 13 wires. 3 holes are empty from the factory.

dont get confused with words here...I think what YOU are calling LEFT and RIGHT, I am calling DASH side and ENGINE side.

In the picture YOU posted, the left side=dash side. The right side=engine side.

When I say left and right in my post, I mean as you sit in the car.

I have a doubt Billman250!

in my dash-side connector
I have a pin green/yellow and this pin is 12v battery
and that's not what You told me that connects with color of the side engine
or your connector do not have the pin green/yellow
and in my connector dash-side I have only a one pin black / yellow
I had to connect the two pin black / yellow of engine side with only one pin black / yellow I have of the side dash
my car is running now!
but I want to be sure that I will not have problems later
by connecting wrong any pin!
and the ECU is burned!
I hope not! because I test in a race vs golf volkswagen with 300hp 20lb boost in roll and I win by some 3 cars
