Default Car doesn't lock!

So I got into a minor fender bender and took it to a shop. I got it back and everything is fine, except when I press "LOCK" on the remote, the driver's side doesn't lock. The passenger locks and unlocks fine, but the drivers just remains unlocked. I can put my key in and lock it manually, but the remote doesn't unlock/lock it.

Is there anything I can do to fix this? I'd rather not get into a hassle of taking the car to the shop again.

well whatever wire needs to be connected inside the door to make that happen appears not to have been connected. Take it back and they should fix it no charge since that was probably something they were supposed to take care of in the first place.

Are you able to lock it manually from the inside? I had this problem before and it would not lock manually from the inside and it ended up being a broken piece of plastic where the rod connected to that lever. Maybe it's the same for you?

I'm assuming the 'child resistant lock button' (for lack of better words) was not tripped? It is a switch/button on your driver's door panel that toggles on/off -- located on the same panel with your power window switches. If toggled accidentally during repairs, it may be your issue. Flip it in the other direction and try your remote again...
