Hi all

I've recently had my valve clearances adjusted and have immediately noticed a reduction in fuel consumption - from around 270-300 miles a tank to 200-240.

Is this likely to be related? I don't think I'm driving the car any harder than I previously did!

Any thoughts welcome.

sounds like it was adjusted incorrectly, everyone I know of got better or the same gas mileage after the adjustment.

 

Who did the adjustment and what were the specs?
