Default Possible broken aircon?

Hi all,
I turned my aircon on this morning as normal and it was working as it should. I then turned it off as the temp was ok and was cool enough to just use the normal fans. When the temp got warmer again i turned the aircon back on only to notice a cloud of steam come out of the vents and then go away!! I did this a few times to see if it re-occoured and it did repeatedly and got worse to the stage where it was a constant flow of steam/gas stuff.

I'm hoping it's something like a drain pipe blocked and it's chucking the water back in but want to check with you guys first before i take it to Honda and get screwed for a new condenser or something. Could it be the heater matrix?

The aircon still works fine and when the steam has gone it does it's job as it should, very strage. Anywone has this problem?

For the record, its a 99 with 25k on the clock

the steam is actually condensation of the mosture in the air as soon as the cold air hits the warm air in yoru cabin. this is perfect normal, every S2k does it, and it especially happens when its humid outside.

I have never noticed it before though and it is getting worse and worse to the stage where it is a constant flow of steam??If i keep it on i will dissapear in a cloud of steam and not be able to see where i'm going?? That can't be normal can it?

I'll check it again this afternoon. Also, can anyone confirm where the moisture gets drained from so i can check if it is blocked coz if this is blocked it will throw it back in the cabin i think??

Thanksin advance for any reponses.

there is a drain pipe from the evaporator to the outside, and the hose can get kinked and drain onto the passanger carpet. there is a TSB for this, but I don't think its your problem but you can check it. https://www.s2ki.com/home/index.php?option=...id=48&Itemid=41
