Awesome replies! Thanks guys! When I don't throw it into gear quickly it does seem to shift better. Also, the clutch fluid is dark, so I'm going to replace that and all the other fluids as well. But since it's bad to skip gears, what do you all think is wrong with my 5th gear? It's like pushing on a brick wall now. And if it does go in, it's with a lot of force, and only goes half way in until I let the clutch out and it pops out of gear...I'm hoping it's not a synchro, but I'm (obviously) not good with diagnosing transmission problems.

Some have had some good results by having the engine off and shifting between 5th and 6th gears repeatedly to remove burrs that may be causing the "hard to get into 5th gear" problem. HTH

One thing that has not been mentioned, (all above are great input, check those things out too!), but the small plastic cup at the bottom of the shifter that goes into the transmission may be broken and not allowing you full range of motion of the shifter. Try the dry shifting into 5th and 6th repeatedly as well as all of the above suggestions and report back.

Thanks for the reply!^^ But no, it won't even go into 5th with the engine off and the clutch in. I took a video of it just a while ago to show you all. No matter how much pressure I apply to the shifter, it still won't go in. Not even half way now.

Btw, in the video, my seat is what's squeaking and what-not, not the shifter lol

Search for threads regarding "lost 5th gear after track day". I have posted a quick fix method. Your 6th gear collar is burred up, causing your 5th gear issues.
