Default Possible Tranny Problem?

I was at a drive through the other day and noticed my car started chirping or sqweaking or something. I was at a standstill and the sound kept on going..chirp...chirp...chirp. I press the accelerater a bit to see what would happen (in neutral at this point) and the chirp rate wasn't altered. Then I pressed the clutch and the chirping sped up. Released clutch and the chriping went back to normal and wouldn't speed up again after pressing the clutch a second time. At first I thought it was just a belt that had acquired some moisture or something and was slipping a bit, but it was a sunny day and no reason for anything to be at all wet. MY04 only has like 13K on it and I don't drive hard very much. I'm prolly just being paranoid, but i don't think it was a belt for some reason. This has only happened once and I just want to make sure this isn't a sign of a problem arising.

Any comments?
