Never done this before so I'll have to try this out on my daily before I make a video on it. It currently has Toyota coolant in it, which bothers me since its pink so I will likely learn how to do this soon..

This thread is long due for an update.

I took on one of the most popular DIYs for noisy soft tops.

Finally, after several years I've released a valve adjustment video and i genuinely hope it helps people out and clarifies the process a bit.

I included some simple videos for removing and reinstalling the valve cover too.

While I was talking about valve adjustments I had to talk about the tight exhaust valve clearance issue that Billman has discovered, and that I have witnessed on every DBW car I've worked on. This is a rather technical topic so I hope I made it palpable.

Decided to redo my IACV clean video since I have since done it with the proper tools and actually split the IACV motor.

And lastly, redid the clutch fluid gravity bleed video since the original one had music on it and was demonetized. Since then I've gotten a new gopro and now have a proper microphone so It wasn't too bad to redo.

Will probably talk about axle vibrations issues next and work on my CR hardtop noise. Maybe even do a track prep video. I'd like to start getting into modification reviews but I'm not sure what to do just yet. Thanks for all the support y'all.

Is the head gasket expected to be replaced? I was under the impression it should last the lifetime of the car. At least my person motors have seen upwards of 150k miles and have not had any head gasket issues.

No, but mine was leaking so I am replacing it. I was half joking so I would have a nice video of the process. I am half way there.....just need some time.
