Default Powder coating differential

Im replacing the final drive with a 4.77 and i have a diff waiting to get put in, i was cleaning the diff up and was thinking about getting the differential cover, The alloy part with the fins, now i know the fins are there for heat dissipation and i am not sure weather getting it coated is going to be keeping heat in rather than dissipating it. Will it be okay to get it done ? I was thinking about dark bronze as Im getting wheels done that colour and will not cost anything to get cover done the same colour.

Use a thermal paint. Although powdercoating is more durable, it will be a pain to touch up

Don't expect that paint to last long if you use your diff as the rear jacking point...
