Power Steering problems
Agreed. One small thing you could try is performing an EPS reset procedure: https://www.s2ki.com/forums/uk-irela...reset-1153945/
It likely wouldn't fix the issue, but it is something free to try first.
If it truly is the torque sensor, you would need to disassemble and clean the torque sensor. (guide is written up here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1...TbSfJzPYE/edit).
If that still doesn't work, then replacing it with a new (or used, but confirmed to be working well) torque sensor would be the next thing I'd try, followed by EPS control unit (seriously doubt that this is broken)

good morning, I'm Italian, I have a problem with my S2000, year 2001. The car's steering has never worked well, in my opinion, it's hard both on the right and on the left. The EPS light goes off normally when driving, but when I try the SCS procedure, the EPS light doesn't. it remains fixed and does not display any errors...in 2022 on ebay I bought a complete rack with torque sensor in good condition but I didn't solve the problem...I'm waiting for an EPS control unit to try, what do you think will I be able to solve the problem?
