problem fixed but cel still on

i put new coil packs in my car , now running 100% but check engine like still on , will it go out after i put a couple miles on the car or do i need to get it reset ?

If the problem is truly fixed the light will go away after 3 driving cycles. Comsisting of at least 6 miles stop and go, or 10 miles highway.
