Default problem installing coilover

I followed the video that tells you how to install dampers on the s2000 and looked at the diy, the bolts are off but the stock shock/absorber or strut will not come out. I am currently working on the driver side front. I have not tried the otehr side but I would like to get this one out before I work on the other one. Any help would be appreciated.

Disconnect the front swaybar endlink, and push down on the brake rotor/knuckle with your foot.

Taking out the sway links can be difficult. I've never had to do that once. The shock almost falls out of the car. Never had to pry anything.

Remove top hat nuts, remove lower shock bolt, remove 10mm bolt holding ABS wire to body or you will BREAK IT, remove 12mm bolt holding brake hose to shock, remove upper a-arm bolts. Upper A-arm bolts come out easy, and dont affect alignment. This is where youe trouble lies if you cant manuver the shoock out.

Problem about to be solved..both front wheels need to be off the ground. if the weight is on one tire, the sway bar will force the a-arm upwards.

Raise entire front and set on two jack stands for easy front coil install.
