we installed the AEM EMS w/ UEGO last week, and since then about half of the times, the car will crank and die. and so i have to push the button and crank again. most of the time the car will start up on the second try of cranking, but i'm just curious of whats causing the problem i'm experiencing.

 

make sure your map sensor is plugged and reset your ecu happend to my brothers supra last week

 

The problem lies in tuning. A properly tuned EMS will start everytime. Id reccomend finding an experienced tuner. have them spend all the time you can afford getting the idle and low speed driveability tuned.

 

Yes its all in tuneing. Be careful there is alot of self proclaimed god ems tuners. go by reliable ppls experiance with tuneing.
