Well I have had this problem before and it seems to go away after a couple day sbut I want to figure out what it is. So this is the 2nd time this has happend to me. Well if I floor it in 1st and mis shift shifting into 2nd my tranny won't go into 1st. I will have a hard tome even putting it into 2nd. Well I let me car sit over night and when I get back into it. First gear doesn't really want to go ina nd I have to give it alitte more force. It feels really werid and notchy. When I shift into 2nd from first it almost doesn't want to come out of 1st and is rough to put into 2nd. Every other gear is smooth as butter. Well today it feels a lot better and still feels alitttle rough going into 1st and 2nd sometimes, but it always gets better after a couple of days and goes back to normal. I have 30k miles on the car and the tranny fluid is about 800 miles old. Does anyone know what could be the problem

 

Check for a leaking clutch master cylinder and/or slave cylinder.

 

Had the same thing happen to me last summer,I changed the tranny fluid and topped off the clutch fluid reservoir ...fixed it no problems since...however the tranny fluid was a little overdo for a change,and you recently just changed yours....so I'm not so sure if it will help.

 

probably needs a power band.
