My horn stopped working recently. For whatever reason a was too lazy to fix it for a while. Even though there were a few times I really wished it was working!

I took my car into a Honda dealership today to get an oil change and asked them to fix the horn. After my oil change the lady told me that they replaced the fuse but the horn still didn't work...so they replaced my old fuse.

Somethin' seems a lil strange...any ideas?

I was used to using my horn all the time in NYC, but now I live in Columbus (for now) and it's rarely needed, though I would like it to be working of course!

Sounds to me like they didn't do the whole job.

 

This is a simple electrical trouble-shooting problem. Any decent mechanic that know a little about wiring should be able to figure out what's wrong.

It's either lack of electrical current to the horn, lack of a proper ground from the horn button, or a defective horn. If I remember correctly, the 2003 cars had two horns, one located in front of the radiator next to the A/C dryer, and the other on the passenger side of the engine bay against the fender.

After a collision damage repair to the front of my car, the technician failed to plug in the horn connector, so it may be as simple as that.

 

Thanx...I'll take a look at it myself and if I can't figure it out I'll take it to a mechanic.
