i had the exact same problem. bought a used shaft from another member parting out an ap1 for a track car. worked out perfectly ... so far (knock on wood). put out a "wanted" call. there is a used one listed on ebay for an ap2 for $200. However, ap1 won't fit on ap2.

Spec Ops from NY Metro has one FS. $140.= CHEAP.
