Default "Properly" attaching replica AP1 lip

I recently purchased a replica OEM lip for my AP1 on ebay. The only installation hardware it came with was 4 screws. The lip does not have any brackets pre-attached nor did it come with any. I would prefer to mount the lip in a similar way to the real OEM lip which appears to use metal brackets on the lip along with existing bolts on the underside of the bumper. I know I will have to drill holes for the sides of the lip that attach in the wheel well.

Does anyone know of a source for either OEM or aftermarket hardware that would enable a cleaner install? Or perhaps a good "hardware store" solution with parts I can easily find at Home Depot?

I’ve done it twice - 3M double sided tape across the entire top of the lip. 2 small bolts and speed nuts drilled through bumper cover in wheel well. Never had a problem with it becoming detached.

Thanks I did come across that and it was helpful. That is similar to what I'd like to do. For the plastic push clips on the metal brackets - did you drill new holes for those or does it use the existing holes?

Hardtopguy sells the OEM parts kit to mount the lip if you're interested in that.

You'll have to mount the metal brackets to the lip yourself with rivets, but theoretically if you put them in the correct places you'd be able to install the lip in the same fashion as OEM.

I think i got lucky with my lip as most of the holes lined up really well; i only had to drill one of the small metal holders a bit
I also used doubled sided tape and you can buy the lip gasket for amazon
