Default Pulled a CEL

P0138 O2 Sensor Circuit High Voltage (Bank 1 Sensor 2)

Hey Boys,

I just installed my test pipe w/fouler and my exhaust (HKS HiPower). I drove the car for about 500 miles and my CEL has just come on. I'm not too worried. Here is my question: After I installed my parts, I did not pull the 7.5 fuse under the dash. If I pull the fuse to reset the ECU, will the CEL go away and come back after a few mins. of driving? Any help would be appreciated.

P.S., this is my only mod so far, I have my Mugen Header waiting to be installed this Thursday.

Thank you,

David

It will come back on if the OBD monitor runs and fails again. I would check to make sure it is plugged in. You usually get the high or low voltage codes when something is unplugged or shorted.

Did you use 2 non-foulers? Also, when you installed the t.pipe, you may have damaged the wiring to the O2 sensor.

My CEL magically disappeared today on the way to work. Woot Woot.

P.S. I'm still planning on getting underneath the car this weekend to see what might be wrong though.
