Default Pulley "slop"?

While swapping the crank pulley while installing my SC, I noticed the idler pulley and tensioner pulley has some "slop" or "play" when jiggled. Is this normal? Has anyone else noticed this in their S?

(I apologize for the non-technical descriptions)

the tensioner moves a little more than it feels like it should I noticed.

The idler should have no play, only spin. Was it like that before you took it off?

I noticed they both has a little play before I touched them...however I was always curious why the tensioner pully made a strange sound which was noticable with the airbox gone...

Hows Portland? You never told me what part of town you are from when I mentioned I was from Tigard/Lake Oswego.
