your right. If it was meticulously built and everything was done right, I highly doubt he’d leave it under a tree

When you say "built" engine, what exactly do you mean? Head, bottom end, both?

when you say run, do you mean away from? Or to the car?

Not sure whether you're trying to convince some of the people here or yourself? If you think there's enough there in parts alone to warrant the price you're willing to pay, then go for it. Worse that can happen is you realize you're in over your head, and you part it out. Personally, I would do what others have already said and walk away, regardless of the parts list. Not worth the hassle to ME. Good Luck.

Run away unless you are looking to get a car to spend years and tons of money to turn into a car that might be a lot of fun for a short period of time.

It really does sound like u want it regardless of what myself and people have said. Like I said above 10k is what I would pay for it and set aside a minimum of 7k to fix it assuming the engine is good. If you buy it take it straight to a shop that knows s2ks and let them make it mechanically solid. After that you should drive it a bit to make sure its a halfway decent car. Finally, if things work out you can do the bodywork.

try to post better pics. Get some interior shots and pics of the whole car.

everything on the list that you can see is there.

I'm saying maybe verify that stuff is real, you can buy fake TE37s for a couple hundred.....

I don’t know: many of those parts are verifiable. Do a leak down and compression, verify the make of the header and only but it if you have a very good local tuner. He should have some sort of dyno sheet for it. Most don’t tune their own. If he has no no sheet and no idea of how to tune I would have doubts in the car. Definitely worth investigating though.
