Question Question about AC

Is it normal for the AC on the s2000 to not blow cold air at idle? Mine will blow nice and cool air when driving but at idle just seems to blow air. Wanted to check if this is normal considering the size of the compressor.

Check the condenser, make sure it's not caked with dirt and stuff. Try blasting it with a hose, if it helps the AC work better then that's the issue, either that or your undercharged. I'm betting it's the former not the latter.

It is normal for the AC to not work as well at idle but the difference shouldn't be too great, if the fans are doing their job. At speed you get airflow plus fans across the condenser and engine speed also makes the compressor spin faster.

Both fans should run 100% of the time the AC is on. They running?

Are you starting the car in 100F heat and then using the AC while idling? Its gonna take some time to cool off

To answer all 3 in one response:
I checked the pressure, was only a little low on refrigerant, and after filling it up nothing seemed to change. I will definitely be checking the condenser next!
The fans are running the whole time the AC is on.
When stopped at traffic lights after a while of driving with the AC on, it is still noticeable that the AC switches from cold air to just air.
