Do any of you guys experience a noise that happens when say, for example, you are downshifting. it happens when you push down the clutch and rev it up (rev match for smooth downshifting). the noise im talking about doesn't really sound like its coming from the engine, but more from the drivetrain(maybe?). the noise sounds like a slight knocking noise that is not heard if you have the radio on. does anyone know what im talking about and does anyone experience this? im just checking to see if its normal or not.

thanks in advance

EDIT: the reason i don't think its the motor itself is because it doesn't make the noise when you're in any gear and accelerating. it only happens when the clutch is pushed down and you rev it up.

I have always had a rattling / nocking noise from my clutch when it is disengaged and I rev the engine. I think it is just a noisy throw-out bearing or something. Its been the same for 21K miles.
