anyone know if we can take out the glass rear windshield of the softtop and and put it on a 2000 model plastic top? because my 2002 softop have a tear in it and i found a good deal on a 2000 model softtop(plastic windshield). wondering if i can take my current glass and transfer it over there somehow? thx guys

 

No, you can't do that. Well, technically anything is possible with enough money...

 

plus the plastic is bigger than the glass.

 

You can buy a top that will convert to glass rear window. It takes some minor modification to the top frame.

 

i think what hes trying to say is that he has an 02 with glass and its torn so he wants to buy an 00 top and swap his glass in. Right?

If its a good condition Plastic, get it. Take care of it well, its better than the glass because it gives you more view.

Then again, no defrost.....lol
