I'm running a Comptech SC and have had ZERO issues.

With a conservative driving style a SC could actually lower the wear and tear on your engine. Why? Well in merge/pass/acceleration situations where you 'only' need 240 hp you'll have to downshift and rev the stock engine to 8700 rpm. With a SC engine you only need to go to ~6200 for 240. So if you can resist the corruptability of absolute power, you could put less wear and tear on your engine.

True, but how many conservatives install SC's.

I think of the SC as a slightly shorter path to my stroked, bored and built F22C (in a few years).
