Default Question about TP's

Will you get flames out of your exhaust if you are running a straight flow design with a TP? I am thinking about going this route with J's 70RR or maybe the new J's 70RS with no other significant mods (IE. FI) and was wondering if it will ever blow flames out of the pipe.

This is obviously a major consideration for a DD, despite it looking cool its the last thing i need with a cop following me.

doubtful, our cars aren't running THAT rich. Plus most of the times I see flames out of an exhaust its on a turbo vehicle, not NA.

i have to agree here, my 18tjetta with a crapload of boltons would shoot a bad ass flame on a powershift. i had a few friends laugh when i would take off in front of them and leave my foot planted on a 1-5 gear run and shoot flames on each upshift. made for fun at night.

however, my buddy has a vr6 all motor and he wired up an ignition kill so he can flood the motor and then POW!!!!! he shoots a flame. bottom line, i dont think it is something you really want to do , and like said earlier, S doesnt run rich enough with out help to do it.
