question for my toda header

Default question for my toda header

hi everyone
i finally recived my toda header, when i get it my order. it only a header inside, my question is, do i need a new gasket or just used the old one. another question was my tire. i would like to change it, can someone tell me which one good for street.thanks

OK, I'm not your header, but I'll try to answer anyway. ( )
The service manual recommends that you get the manifold to header gasket, but you could get away with using the old one. It looks like the thing on the right:

You should also get the header to cat "donut", too (the round ring thing to the left of the manifold gasket). Those who don't replace this have noted that there can be a leak. It's a chance you take. Sometimes it works, sometimes there's a leak.

I would try getting those white Hondata type intake gaskets off ebay!

A good idea, but how does that pertain to a header install?

Buy the 2 gaskets from hardtopguy. He quoted me 30-something shipped for both. I stupidly went to the dealer, 65 for both. Stupid me.
