quick question?

Default quick question?

the sensor on the cat and the headers do they just screw off? or do I have to torch it out?

Those are oxygen sensors, and they screw out.

Do you mean the primary and secondary o2 sensors? If you are, they are screwed on, I believe you can get it off with a 22mm wrench.

Try what? What are you doing with them. If you are removing the sensors, be extremely carefull with the tips.

1st, It's a Header. singular, you only have 1. Headers go on engine that have 2.

2nd, You may be able to break the sensor loose with a 22mm or 7/8th's open ended wrench. If not, you may need a oxygen sensor socket to remove the sensor without rounding off the hex. The socket wraps around the sensor and allows more force to be used to remove the 02 without damaging it like an open ended wrench.

I've removed about a dozen on the S, should come out quite easy, just do it when it's cold so you don't gall the threads. 22mm is a slightly tighter fit than a 7/8 and will get it out for sure. Unplug it first and disconnect the wire mounting clips so you don't twist the wires.
