radiator leak

if it overcools, well below the operating temp than you can run into a open loop system which isnt good

^^ Yep...the car has to get to a certain temp (can't recall what it is right off) before it will lean out the mixture. If coolant temp is too low, the car stays rich.

Ok... Soooo... Tell me how an aftermarket radiator alone can cause that.

^X2, that's a thermostat issue, not the radiator.
