Default Radiator leak.

So, My radiator is leaking on the top on the drivers side. As the engine runs the coolant slowly puddles up in the foam area directly in front of the radiator. Its not a hose from the top because it slowly puddles up from below, looks almost like a fast growing mold the way it puddles up.. Suggestions?

OEM radiator? sounds like the top plastic cover has cracked and you'll need a new radiator.

you can try one of the aftermarket all metal core radiators - koyo, mishimoto, etc.

Many radiator places can replace the top and bottom plastic tanks quite cheaply.

I ordered a Koyo yesterday.. $150 wasnt too bad, plus free shipping. I'd rather just replace it then try and repair only the plastic at the top.

nice. thats what i did.

there are a bunch of good DIYs on the radiator change. make sure you turn the heater on!

also, pack extra coolant in your trunk cuz your coolant levels will be low for a few days after the change while it readjusts and gets rids of all the air pockets.
