Default Raising Idle

Looked thru the helms and they comment more than one that the set/stop screw on the TB is set by honda at the factory, and offer no instruction on how to adjust idle speed in the car.

Can I adjust this set screw like any other honda? I would like to raise my cars idle speed.

The idle is usually controlled by the ECU. If it sees more air flowing at idle (resulting in a higher idle speed) it'll probably try and correct it (usually does on other Hondas). On my CRX with a programmable ECU I can set idle speed to anything within 10 rpm increments and the car responds.

About the only thing the set screw is probably good for is to correct idle problems from mods so that the ECU doesn't freak. I had to do this on an Integra with big cams.

Again, all probably here because I haven't messed with the S2000 idle. I did just try an aftermarket billet 70 mm throttle body and had no idle issues, so I'm assuming the ECU is the deciding factor.

How can it diferentiate between me pressing the gas a little, to get some extra idle rpms and me not touching the gas and using the set screw.

The set screw just opens the butterfly.

Dunno about the S2000, but on the miata, you had to short a connection on a relay in order to bypass some part of the ECU's idling programming to set the base idle. Maybe the S2000 is similar?
