Hi all, only recently noticed this problem, but when im accelerating, and only after ive changed gears, im getting a metallic rattling noise coming from what appears to be the front right hand side (US passenger side) of the engine bay. it only happens between 2000~3500rpms.

any ideas on what it could be? only real mod its running is an air filter and i took the airbox lid off

I have the same thing. I think it is just some sympathetic resonance from something that is loose. Haven't really had the time to investigate it though.

 

I have the same thing... I think its injector flutter/ noise but mine occurs between 3k-5k and only under moderate load.

 

bump for this topic. im still getting this weird rattling. seems to be in the 2500-4500rpm rev range depending on how much throttle i give it. usually comes on during lighter throttle inputs.

any ideas on what it could be?
