Default Re-using the clutch pressure plate

When replacing the clutch, would it be acceptable to re-use the pressure plate? What about the release bearing?

I personally would never re-use the release bearing, the cost and effort involved to remove the tranny wouldn't be worth trying to save the release bearing if it failed later down the road. If you have 60k miles or more on your pressure plate I personally would swap in a new one, a mildly used low mileage pressure plate could be fine but I wouldn't re-use an older pp.

Of course you can re-use any part that appears to be low wear, but since the clutch replacement expense on this car is mostly the time/labor most of use use new parts is we are in there.

I have re-used many pressure plates with 100% success. I found a way to spin them and resurface them.

Bearing I would never re-use.
