36mm socket (feels sorta sloppy?)

nut is common to other Honda front drive axles as well.

I had to use a hacksaw to take off the top part of the nut. None of my tools could pry out the tab. Plus, the tabbed part is threaded so if you don't pull it out evenly or damage the threads while doing it then it'll be nearly impossible to remove.

I coulda swore it was 34mm but I could be wrong. Don't overtorque, you could severely damage your axle.

tried 34...no go, its a 36mm

yeah, i know someone who's threads stripped...had to buy brand new axle. whoops.
