Default rear brace screws sizes?

I changed out the exhaust on the S and when I went to put the lower rear brace back on the screws that hold it there had walked off ! Does anyone know what the sizes are so I can go get replacements? Thanks!

i'm guessing you mean the lower cross brace...the same straight stamped sheet metal thing that mounts to the little emission control box behind the driver side?

as i recall the four bolts that hold it to the subchassis are either 12mm or 24mm head bolts (usually means 8mm or 10mm bolt diameter, take a 12mm socket to the home depot when you buy them). The other two that hold onto the emission box bracket are 10mm head bolts. They are no longer than 3/4" either (for all of them).

sorry its not precise, but its better than nothing. besides, these bolts are pretty cheap anyway, get a bunch of different sizes, and keep a little collection.

just reread my post....

i meant to say 12mm or 14mm head size bolts!!!! sorry about that.....

i just checked the maual, and they are specified as 10 x 1.25mm. no length given, but like I said, 3/4" is long enough. Bolt head sizes are usually 2 or 4mm larger (hence the 12 & 14mm reference above).

hope you reread this before buying anything!
