Rear Caliper Piston...came out then reinserted
first off, this is for a 2002 RSX, but should be the same for the s2000.
While changing pads and rotors, the piston in one of the rear calipers came out of the caliper body. All that was seemingly holding it in place was the piston boot. I pushed the piston back in and turned it in clockwise. All went well until i turned it in until it was almost flush with the caliper body and brake fluid squirted out between the piston and caliper boot. Also, when i was bleeding this corner, the first pump was all cloudy, like there was grease in the brake fluid. There wasn't any more cloudy fluid after the first pump.
I went for a drive, made multiple stops, even depressed the brakes multiple times while on jackstands to make sure the caliper isn't leaking at the piston. Everything seems ok so far. But can anyone calm my worries? I've never taken apart a caliper before, all i have is the diagram from the helms below. I want to make sure the caliper is ok with the method that i used to put the piston back in. I don't want it to spring a leak and lose brakes.
Update: my mechanic friend said it should be fine, but i'll leave this topic open incase anyone has any insight or information they might want to add.
