Don't have all the tools either. I thought about buying them, ended up borrowing the big breaker bar and torque wrench from my friend.

the way i would describe it is...

when u wash your car or after rain, and the brakes rust a little bit and stick to the pads.. and once u move you get a "pop" when the pad breaks free from the rotor..

thats what mine sounds like... but not as loud.. like if it were 1 brake pad and not all 4 "popping"
