Default rear plastic window

Does your rear window fold properly when you lower the top or do you have to get out and press it down by hand at the half way point to avoid creasing it? Is this a warranty issue or just something you have to live with?
thanks,
Dennis

thats only happened to me once when it was cold with the original window, my new one hasne done that yet.

of course I unzip it before putting the top down, but Im sure many people think your not supposed to do that.

Forgive my ignorance, but how do you unzip it? I'd like to drive around with it unzipped.....like having the air flow of a sunroof again. Do you actually have a zipper or are you talking about the plastic runner things at the top and bottom of the window?

Well as much as I hate to say it but do a search for zipper in the topic, there has been much debate about using it (because they hid it well) so if you can find all that and decide for yourself what to do, that would save me alot of typing

yes there really is a zipper, under the velcro flaps

You build me up just to let me down. A few moments of fancy there anyway. Looks to me that it is not user friendly and will most likely break if used several times. Thanks for the threads though. Back to grunting and swearing trying to clean the inside.

If you ask me, I think people are just scared to use it, I use mine all the time.

One more thing, if you are using it all the time, its prolly best to us a type of silicon lubricant so the teeth dont bind.
