Hi guys, I have had my Jap import S2000 here in the UK for a few years now. I have only just found out that there was a recall to replace the piston oil injector nozzles. I have no record of the work being done on my car, and it seems as though a lot of the imports got missed. I don't have any issues with the engine, it runs sweet. I was just wondering what to do about it? Many thanks.

 

Do you track the car? Drive it for a long time at very high revs? Is it FI?
If none of the above apply you will be fine.

Need to do a search on Banjo bolt upgrade, to much information to rewrite but there was a redesign that went from two to four hole squirters. I think there was a recall on all European cars do to long drives at high speeds. No recall in the US but they stated putting in the new Banjo style bolts in US cars mid 2002. Hopes this helps.
