I don't know much about mechanical side of cars, so please help me out here.
Mine is MY01 spa yellow, had it for about 1 year. I drive it everyday and drive it hard occasionally. Recently I've noticed couple of "abnormalities."
a) Reduced responce: Throttle response isn't as sharp. Pedals feel lighter (gas pedal and clutch pedal).
b)VTEC stage: Not as noticible as before. The rush isn't as dramatic.

The car recently had 30,000 mile service: no problem detected.

I'd appreciate any insight on this issue.

it's probably because you are used to it, and you crave more power. just guessing...i'm that way.
