To relocate battery or not to relocate battery?

Here are the most significant mods done to the car that affect weight:
Mugen header
J's Racing N1 exhaust (single)
Mugen front sway bar
Comptech front SB
Spoon X-brace
We substitute the stock seats with Sparco road racing seats and Sparco fiev-point racing harnesses. No radio or speakers. NO cruise control. Six-point Cro-Mo roll cage. No convertible top and motor. No rear plastic tray. No rear center console or any plastic behind seats. OEM hardtop
From the above you could say that we substracted some wieght from the center/rear section of the car. If we compare our car to a stock one our is 60-pounds lighter. (remember we added the hardtop and roll cage).

The battery is located around the center of gravity (F/R) of the car. (L/R) would not be compensated by removing the tire since they are on the same side. You should not have to compensate to correct the CG. Your weight has as much of an affect on the CG than any single item you replace. The primary effect would be weight savings.
I don't think your going to get much more than 10lbs out of the battery. That is an off-the-hip estimate.
If you want to do the math...
sum(dist from cg times weight)/sum(weight) = distance from cg
