Default removing front lower control arms

I'm pulling all the suspensions arms to do bushings. It's all going quite swell, except for one item; the cam collar on the front arms. This is the vertical bolt & collar combo toward the rear. The collar is the part with the caster adjuster in it.

Is there any 'trick' to getting this out? The bolt came out no problem, but the collar bit seems to have no vertical movement. I can turn it as one would to adjust caster, but no vertical movement. It is too snug up against the subframe to get a pry bar or screw driver in to pry it.

Somebody out here has to have the secret. Give it to me and I'll give you some magic beans.
