Removing hoses to put on braiding, what happens?
Hey everyone, I recently bought one of those braided hose kits, and I want to put it on. Comes with all the different widths for every hose under the hood.
Can I just disconnect the battery and start disconnecting hoses and put the braiding on? What will happen when I disconnect the radiator hose?
Any comments or tips are appreciated!

You will lose a good deal of your coolant and introduce air into the system. You will need to fill and bleed the coolant.
I'm not sure what your kit contains, but there are a few coolant lines going to the TB and around the manifold, also. If you have smaller sections you are installing, you might find some of these, too.
If you do this and just add coolant (without bleeding) you will need to watch your coolant level and add coolant after a few minutes of running, as well as probably daily for a week or so. It takes some time for the system to "burp" all the air out if you do not bleed it properly.

You may also get false temperature readings. You can sueeze air pockets out by first refilling with coolant, then squeezing the hose, working back to front, until you burp the air out. This is what we did when we installed sensors in the upper radiator hose.
