Default Removing oil filter without draining the pan.

Just wondering how much oil I can expect to come out if I remove the oil filter without draining the pan. I've just changed the oil and I don't really feel like draining it again and I'm trying to install an oil relocation kit. If I remove the oil filter, will the same amount of oil come out as if the pan was empty or will heaps more come out? Any help would be sweet as!

Cheers.

Not much. Make sure the dipstic k level is up top, remove the filter, fill new filter with oil, reinstall, check dipstick and repeat. It shouldnt be more than 1-1/2 quart

You will lose 1/2 quart or less. I've done this a couple of times and noticed very little drop on the dipstick.
